2025 Transfer Portal: Who do we need to target this offseason?

Crazy new element over the past few years is the amount of young QBs after some production immediately going into the portal (Payday) no matter how long they been at QB on current team. These are just guys who mainly are SO with at least 3 years left. There's a ton more "Juniors" which either have 2 or maybe even 3 years of eligibility as well.

2025 so far
Darian Mensah- Tulane
Michael Van Buren - MST
Maalik Murphy - Duke
Jackson Arnold - OK
Anthony Colandrea - Virginia
Keyone Jenkins - FIU
Hank Brown - AU

Let's say Philo comes out in the bowl game and the chances he gets to play some next year and looks the part and shows he is what we think he will be as a College QB.... GT better get ready to back up the money truck and get him a sweetheart NIL to ensure he doesn't get the happy feet.

Not sure if you donate to Tech's scholarship fund, but if you do, note that NIL will be integrated into the GTAA's expenses next year if I'm not mistaken. So funding for S-As is all going to be commingled. Although it may still be possible to specify that a donation be used for scholarships only.

Guy might be an actual psycho. It's like he's internally tryna keep himself from torching the kid but some of it leaks out from sentence to sentence.

I am trying to decide what being a GT fan means in the age of NIL, unlimited / unconstrained transfers, and complete lack of oversight with regards to tampering and pay for play rules. When the latest campaign was announced last month, I knew right away I was not in the same mind set. It is now whether I wish to support semi professional sports leagues that have no salary cap, no rules, and no semblance of academics driving the equation.

My inclination is that I will stop making donations to the scholarship fund if it can be directed to any revenue sports. I will not fund capital projects if it is for revenue sports. I will reduce my ticket purchase to football and basketball to as minimal as possible.

I will still be a fan and cheer for the Jackets. I will still be happy when we win and upset when we lose. But I will support GT in a manner that is consistent with how I financially support the professional teams that I love, which is limited. I will occasionally purchase extra tickets to bring my entire family to games, but I will not consider my (and my family's) weekly attendance at football games to be as important as it has been for the 26 straight years I have been a season ticket holder.

Those who disagree with me can do so as they wish, but I can no longer participate in the madness.

I feel for you,Bud.Luckily I pulled back some yrs ago so that more of my time and money would go to more useful purposes .You know you care too much when you can't stand watching games live.--too much drama and disappointment.
I commend Key for reversing Tech's fortunes amazingly and I'll support his efforts but not to the degree as before especially with the present "madness"..

Can I ask where he’s posting cryptic photos? I don’t see any on Insta or Twitter that seem cryptic or even negative. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place?
