Same here. If 11 state guys played, I imagine CDS unloaded his bench as well. Winning might me important in an exhibition game with fans and media around to hype the results, good coaches don't try to "win" a practice game.
This is true, but I'm sure the Mississippi State guys remembered losing to a team they probably felt they shouldn't have lost to a year ago, and they played a little harder.

It was said some of states starters dominated ours unfortunately
If it was said by someone from Mississippi State then I would take it with a grain of salt. Also since it was a close game in the end that would mean our bench dominated their bench so there's that. Also, I'm willing to bet our starters for this scrimmage were different than the starters for the LSU scrimmage as CDS is trying different combinations to see who plays well together so I'm not really sure it means much. Does anyone know what the final score was?

In other words, “We’re talking practice.”

So sad to hear of the passing of Jaedan's father. I don't know that Jaedan knows that his father scored 24 points and 11 rebounds for Maryland at the Thriller Dome in Feb 1990, with Tech's Dennis Scott getting 36 points. Maryland lost 80-78 to our Final Four team. R.I.P Jerrod.

I bet Dennis Scott remembers Jerrod Mustaf.
