……. And then, suddenly, NC St DOESN’T look like a pushover at all. Before you say “it’s only Stanford”, when is the last time we hung 59 on a conference opponent …… or anyone for that matter?
14 points thru 50 minutes. Our offense came alive in the 4th quarter. For 3 quarters we were very average.GT put up 400 yards and almost 250 on the ground. We’ve obviously seen many defenses stop GT’s running game - IMO that tells you something about how soft the offenses Duke played before that were. They don’t have the level of physicality some other defenses do. SMU nearly put up 500 yards themselves.
The only game in their last 4 where they allowed <400 yards was FSU and we all know how bad that offense has gotten.
My post about Francine getting spanked certainly didn't age wellScuse wins in OT.
No it didn’t At least you owned it!My post about Francine getting spanked certainly didn't age well
I hate that whiny ***** coach cuse has. punk *** *****.No it didn’t At least you owned it!
Ok. Quick. Before Clemson loses. How does tiebreaker work? I assume you mention pollsters because they factor in?Fellas… I believe the pollsters are the only thing that’ll keep SMU out of the ACCCG
Top two teams by ranking are in ACCCG… as far as I knowOk. Quick. Before Clemson loses. How does tiebreaker work? I assume you mention pollsters because they factor in?
ETA... and explain it to me like I'm a 5th grader.
After tonight I’m sure it will be Miami and SMU only two without a loss in the ACCTop two teams by ranking are in ACCCG… as far as I know
That’s pretty much the tie breaker
SMU looks like they belong. After tonight I’m sure it will be Miami and SMU only two without a loss in the ACC
( guess that is why FSU and Clemson didn’t want them in the ACC)
Did in the early 80’s before it was legal.Looks like SMU deep NIL is paying off
Really? So.. (hypothetically) if SMU & Miami are both unbeaten in ACC play but Clemson is ranked higher than SMU... it's Miami v Clemson in ACCCG?Top two teams by ranking are in ACCCG… as far as I know

No only if they have the same number of lossesReally? So.. (hypothetically) if SMU & Miami are both unbeaten in ACC play but Clemson is ranked higher than SMU... it's Miami v Clemson in ACCCG?
I’ll go ahead and answer affirmatively. Someone will be along to correct me if I’m wrongReally? So.. (hypothetically) if SMU & Miami are both unbeaten in ACC play but Clemson is ranked higher than SMU... it's Miami v Clemson in ACCCG?
Lol. I actually tried to figure it out (recently)... & my brain broke. Seriously thought I was just making it too hard (old-man-itis) & assumed someone could actually explain it to me like I was a 5th grader.I’ll go ahead and answer affirmatively. Someone will be along to correct me if I’m wrong
I think with the elimination of divisions and no way to have remotely equal schedules, the polls control. It’s the top two by rank, regardless of their conference record.

ACC tiebreaker scenarios 2024: How Clemson or Miami could be left out of title game despite unbeaten record
The potential for three ACC teams -- Clemson, Miami and SMU -- finishing 8-0 has created a chaos scenariowww.cbssports.com
Found this. It sounds way more complicated than my current mindset can decipher. I could be convinced I’m wrong about something… but not another drink. That’s not wrong… ever… until tomorrow.
My uninformed, ill equipt brain believes Clemson is in big trouble regardless.Lol. I actually tried to figure it out (recently)... & my brain broke. Seriously thought I was just making it too hard (old-man-itis) & assumed someone could actually explain it to me like I was a 5th grader.
We'll reconvene after we beat Miami. My uninformed, ill equipt brain believes Clemson is in big trouble regardless.
Miami vs SMU seems like a near lock
