There is still hope to finish the playoffs before Spring training opens.I'm surprised these series haven't gone to best of 7's for the money grab?
Who'll be the first 'Mr. January'?There is still hope to finish the playoffs before Spring training opens.
I never thought he would be this type of hitter. I was thinking .250-.265 with 30+ HR. He went way past those expectations.Buddy, there were people on here that were literally arguing with me every day. No way he ends up a clean-up hitter, he won’t hit for average, can’t hit 20 HR’s let alone 30, he will strike out more than he can get hits every season, and his defense will be affected. I said he will be a star before 25. He’s 24. His swing gave it away for me. Sure MLB pitching adjusted to him, they do to everybody.
Do you know in the second half of the season, he had more hits than anyone else in the league this year? It’s true.
I know he’s a team guy, but the Braves should have never thrown him out in LF while he was trying to figure out the pitchers. He played hurt in the past too.
What did he play, 160 of 161 games this year? Troy Glaus could never have done that. And I said repeatedly, Austin would compare to Troy in the least. He reminds me of Mike Trout, with his cut and his build. They laughed me off this site or tried to do it.
Only question is do I double down on my wrongness or do I reverse heel turn and act like I was always on the bandwagon?Buddy, there were people on here that were literally arguing with me every day. Ah yeah, I always saw this comin.I never thought he would be this type of hitter. I was thinking .250-.265 with 30+ HR. He went way past those expectations.
They don’t count post-season HR’s or stats, so Riley sits at 59 w/a .272 avg.I never thought he would be this type of hitter. I was thinking .250-.265 with 30+ HR. He went way past those expectations.
