When is the schedule being released?

According to the most recent Sugiura article, it should be released by the end of This month. Last year it was 1/16.

Also of note from that article, we’re likely to open with Clemson at Bobby Dodd or at Syracuse.

There are 5 acc teams with full ooc schedules that have an open slot week 1, meaning one of them could start with a bye unless an ooc game is moved. I guess we could move Garner Webb pretty easily if needed.

I’ll pass on Clemson. I got a felling that’s gonna be one pissed off team coming out game 1.
We might not beat Cuse but I’d rather ease into the season a little.

Football Scoop says Bobby Petrino will be hired at Missouri State (FCS). Of course, yesterday they said it would be Art Briles.

I hope this doesn't happen, I don't think that would be a good place to start for 2020 ...

I don't know that this is really accurate. But, something is amiss with their recruiting right now.
Given how they've recruited in the last four years, the Coastal is probably breathing a sigh of relief that they appear to be having some trouble. And, yes, I'd assume that the NCAA is involved in this, albeit under the table.

Too bad for Bud. If he had been given the job instead of Fuentes, I'd guess that the ship would be sailing with no trouble. His deciding to retire could be the signal of Big Trouble in Little China, however.
