The Falcons’ chance to reap a draft windfall was lost in December, when they won four games after their postseason hopes had been mathematically quashed. Had they gone 2-2 instead – remember, the victories over San Francisco and Tampa Bay – they’d have held no worse than the No. 8 pick in Round 1.
>IMO, they're doin OK with what they have. They're getting positions of need.Should have pulled starters those last four games but thats water under a bridge
> things could be worse if they had traded up. Let's hope they fill remaining needs with UDFA's.
It' been a very nice draft by the Falcons so far filling areas of need:D

Here are my grades for the Falcons 2020 NFL Draft picks so far

1st Round- CB AJ Terrell (C+) The Falcons could have drafted him in the 2nd-3rd round and thus was a reach but he has the potential to be a good cornerback

2nd Round- DT Marlon Davidson (A) He is powerful and quick on his feet and he'll be a major disrupter

3rd Round- C Matt Hennessy (A+) He will be a starter at center for the Falcons in 2021 or 2022 and will be one of the best centers in the NFL

4th Round- LB Mykal Walker (B) is quick on his feet and is a hitter and will provide depth at LB and might be a starter in a couple of seasona

4th Round-S Jaylinn Hawkins(A+) has an instinctive nose for the football and and is a game changer and could be a starter pretty soon

Here's the draft position, along with CBS player ranking and grade
16 terrell 25 C+
47 Davidson 51 B-
78 Hennessey 77 B+
119 Walker 251 C+
134 Hawkins 200 A
228 hofrichter 279 D+

hmm, so drafting a guy 9 spots too early gets u a C+ while 66 spots(2 rounds) early gets u an A
maybe next year i'll avoid cbs
