The Falcons can't afford Clowney with their salary cap problems. I think Julio Jones will be traded following the 2020 season and the Falcons will try to trade Matt Ryan following the 2021 season. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones take up most of the Falcons cap space.

Yeah both of those deals are terrible for us. Should have drafted Ceedee and traded Julio for picks.

sounds like a good trade.
not sure why they made announcement about not picking up Tak's future contract while he still has a year to play.
makes me wonder how long he'll be here .....

I think Takk is traded or released sooner rather than later

I liked the picks in rounds 2 and 3 but still think we lost ground in draft.
Signing Gurly/Fowler/hurst and losing freeman/Beasley/Hooper seems like a big net gain.
Staying healthy for a season might be an even bigger gain.

I think the Falcons go 10-6 and make the Playoffs as an NFC Wildcard while the media favorite Buccaneers go 8-8.
