We’ll win some games and we’ll lose some games.

Right! Hell I have a podcast and we do some live recordings. It’s not that difficult to stop, edit and redo. I’m just as knowledgeable as this guy lol. I’m going to do one that has us 14-0 and winning the national championship!I have no clue why he doesn't just re-record and re-upload his 5 minute video. I've never made a youtube video, but I can't imagine it would be hard to even find a place to cut out the 2 times he said it and replace it. It's like the biggest story about Tech this year that we have a new head coach.
pass rush is what needs the most improvement.Balls bounce, players are human, they play hard.
The real unknown is how much cgc and his coordinators win or lose games due to in game coaching.
In the first year if they just don't lose games, it will satisfy some but not me.
This year I need to see at least an inkling of cpj in that we have not lost the ability to exploit tendencies. Imo, in last decade the first drive of second half was a thing of beauty and pretty much solely due to Coach.
Eventually it will be on the defense where cgc makes his reputation. Our pass defense can make major improvements and still suck so i will be patient.
Not pass rush tackling has to be first thingpass rush is what needs the most improvement.
Why do you have a podcast? What is it dedicated to? Something us Tech fans would be interested in?Right! Hell I have a podcast and we do some live recordings. That's for damn sure. We haven't seen even semi-adequate tackling in years. Not pass rush tackling has to be first thing
If they had a stat for most missed tackles we'd be so far ahead of everybodyThat's for damn sure. We haven't seen even semi-adequate tackling in years.
Lack of lead in the pants - except for branch and jordan swilling. Hits turn into grabbing arm tackle. 12 hits and the pile moves. So far not much playing time - if he can help this year it will also help recruiting. That's for damn sure. We haven't seen even semi-adequate tackling in years.
Sports mainly and other BS. Basically 3 guys, who I was in Detroit with, talk about **** you’d hear at a sports bar on a Saturday lol. One is a Michigan fan, one a Mich St fan and me. We’ve actually spoke with Pat Mcafee show and Barstool but nothing has happened yet. Pretty much a hobby. Why do you have a podcast? What is it dedicated to? I don’t think I’m a kool aid drinker, but I think we were probably looking at 5-7 wins this year if CPJ came back. I think we have a better recruiting class than we would have otherwise had, but still not top of the conference, and some talented transfers, but we lost a lot of starting talent and all the yards that came with it.
Throw in new coaches, new schemes, and a habit of Collins starting slow, and I can see a struggle this year. Maybe I’m wrong and we charge out of the gate—these guys have enthusiasm.
I’m still thinking 5-7. A lot of games look evenly matched to me now. I’m hoping for some great defense and special teams play.

I’ve felt the same way as well. The coastal set up perfectly for us to make a run the next two years of PJ stayed. He really must have been burnt out. But I’m really excited about the future amd the buzz the program is getting now with GC. I can accept a couple “down” years if it’s setting us up for something big in 2021 and beyond. I still think this team I capable of 7 wins though.I think we were the Coastal favorites with 8-10 wins expected if CPJ returns. Year 2 of Woodys defense with a lot of the right personnel in place. 3/4 great options at QB with experience on the OL. And elite specialists returning at all 3 positions.
I’m not saying CGC isn’t better for us long term, but we were set up nicely the next 3-4 years relative to the rest of the Coastal.
Left out the best RB.Yeah, agree. Losing our best DT and best OL in a transition year is a lot for GT to overcome.
I'm not sure what to think on this. I predicted 6 - 6 before and I think I have to stick with that.I’m still thinking 5-7. A lot of games look evenly matched to me now. I’m hoping for some great defense and special teams play.
