Current rankings:
1) LSU (9-0)
2) Ohio State (9-0)
3) Clemson (10-0)
4) Alabama (8-1)
5) Georgia (8-1)
6) Oregon (8-1)
7) Minnesota (9-0)
8) Utah (8-1)
9) Penn State (8-1)
10) Oklahoma (8-1)
11) Florida (8-2)
12) Baylor (9-0)
13) Auburn (7-2)

We really need Auburn to win at home against Georgia this coming weekend.

Putting Minnesota behind Georgia and Oregon is disrespect. Its basically saying they're going to ignore actual wins and losses and just insist that on paper Georgia and Oregon are better. Georgia lost at home to South Carolina who lost at home to Appalachian State.

Oregon and Baylor haven't really played anybody, so I would put Baylor behind all the 1 loss teams, and I would put Oregon behind all the good 2 loss teams. The only decent team Oregon played was Auburn and they lost, so why are they several spots ahead of them.

If the poll were mine to select, I would do:
1) LSU (9-0)
2) Ohio State (9-0)
3) Clemson (10-0)
4) Minnesota (9-0)
5) Alabama (8-1)
6) Penn State (8-1)
7) Oklahoma (8-1)
8) Georgia (8-1)
9) Utah (8-1)
10) Baylor (9-0)
11) Florida (8-2)
12) Auburn (7-2)
13) Oregon (8-1)

This won't be the way it ends, but for now I think fair is fair until someone loses more games.
Here's my FBS Top 30 for this week

PREACH IT, brother!

The UGA love is infuriating. How can you ignore their loss at home to a mediocre South Carolina team & not give Minn credit for beating PSU?

IF UGA wins out, then fine... put them in top 5. But not today. Also.. Alabama. It was a pretty close loss to LSU... but a loss & at home. Alabama has not played (I mean beaten) any really good teams. Folks keep throwing that at Clemson... but not Alabama. Again... annoying.

I watched the entire Alabama game (my wife was born in Dothan) ...
I expected them to win in a dominant fashion as they have often in the past, but IMO they looked very pedestrian and I'm wondering if it's the beginning of the end to their dominance ??
Props to the LSU QB, Burrows !

Alabama losing assistants left and right is starting to affect them in my opinion

Also, lets compare # games where the team scores 30 or fewer points.

LSU: 1
Ohio State: 0
Clemson: 2
Alabama: 0
Minnesota: 1
Oregon: 3
Utah: 2
Oklahoma: 0

Georgia: 6 (let that sink in)...including 4 straight.

Penn State: 5
Florida: 5
Auburn: 6
Baylor: 4

To me, all the available data shows that Georgia is not playing like those top Tier 1 teams or even the Tier 1.5 but instead belong down in that 2nd Tier of teams ranked between 8-12. There is no defensible reason other than bias for them to be anywhere near the top 4-6 teams.

uga made #4 in the CFP rankings? Oh helllllllllll no.

That is so freaking obnoxious. They're in, after losing at home to a pitiful South Carolina team who lost to Appalachian State at home. But Alabama isn't, who barely lost to an undefeated LSU team in one of the best football games this year.

This makes less than any sense. If there is a God in this world, oh please have Auburn win this weekend.

Meanwhile, there are teams like Minnesota who hasn't lost a game yet, and they're ranked 8th. And they just beat the undefeated #4 Penn State team at their place.

The CFP committee should be embarrassed. They're just a bunch of SEC homer idiots.

The committee must be hedging their bets so that the winner of the SECCG is guaranteed in. I just can't believe the dwags have the fourth best resume.

Alabama has lost quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to a hip injury in the first half against Mississippi State. Nick Saban was trying to run up the score leading 35-7 in the 1st half and it will cost them against Auburn and they'll miss the Playoffs.
