According to the Scoop Alabama is going to have Co-Defensive Coordinators in 2018. Jeremy Pruitt leaving to take the Tennessee head coaching job must have put Alabama in a spot.

I can't understand why we didn't get to play in that bowl , we did beat the number 2 team Alabama the first game of the season. Must have had something to do with the other 10 games that year. ( 1981 when drinking was a must to watch the games )

It looked like Atlanta Fulton County Stadium was pretty empty but it was a pretty cold day when that game was played and also Miami(8-3) along with Virginia Tech(8-3) weren't exactly powerhouse programs in 1980

I think that most on this board would characterize Tech as a "powerhouse program" with an 8-3 record...

WR Jauan Jennings has reenrolled at Tennessee and will probably play football for Tennessee in 2018. Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt will probably keep him on a short leash however.
