Well … except that he's as fast as Dwyer and just as hard to knock off his feet, yes.

I’ve been hearing that, just haven’t seen it.

@Heisman's Ghost is thinking of Orwin Smith, I do believe. And, yes, Orwin was probably as good as it gets at AB - he had it all. Robbie Godhigh might be tied with him for best AB ever.

That's him. He and Robbie Godhigh are my two all time favorites. Loved Embry Peebles too. The only thing remotely negative about Orwin was that his blocking was not quite as good as some but other than that he was a fine player for us. Roddy Jones was terrific also didn't mean to leave him out.

Anthony Allen, maybe?

Who could forget AA? He played both A back, remember the long run against Clemson, and B back as a senior. Big, strong, and fast but I consider him to be the worth successor to Dwyer at B back.
