Bailey & Bart named (voted) captains. If a college team (any sport) is fortunate enough to have quality leadership... I contend that WILL increase win totals & decrease losses. It's impossible to quantify objectively... but over a 55-60 game schedule, leadership will factor in at some point. I do not know these players... but I am optimistic these 2 have the makeup to do well for the group.

. I don't want that either, but it's early and those seeding's will change as the season plays out as you know. Like you said, it's good just to see our name seeded.

I know it's really just words (or not... it could mean something) However, is this preseason talk at least a little different from previous years? Quotes for CDH and players really have a tone of "not messing around"... I know I'm grasping.

Preseason talk is worth less than 1 strike during the season. I don't see anything really different. Last year I think it was how we trained differently. Before that it was something else. Flavor of the year.

I'm not mad or upset and would probably be the same way in their shoes. The platitudes are for those who need them. (Not you!)
