I still stand by my idea that all season tickets should be sent the same shirt and then sell that shirt as the cheapest option on game day and the bookstore.

That's a majority of fans in the same color right there. Plus could be the opening "gift" of the new provider.

Who has Todd's ear. Tell him to do it.

Absolutely wonderful idea!!!! Wish I has thought of it!

Love this idea and to expand upon it:

Send all season ticket holders a "Together We Swarm Promo Box." (If a better name came along that can be changed) The box would include:
A. 1 Gold T-Shirt
B. 1 White T-Shirt
C. Magnet/Pin-up of GT's schedule on the cool graphic backgrounds they've been doing - with special event dates included
D. Pamphlet of GTAA social media accounts to follow, intro to the upcoming season with some relevant stats, and contact numbers to call for specific questions (such as parking info, tailgating inquiries, ticket inquiries, etc.)
E. Picture of the a very memorable moment from the previous season with a short message from CPJ or TS to hype up the season (I would send out Qua Searcy diving FTW against uGA for this year as an example)
F. Small/cheap gift (They did do this last year, they sent out some cheap coasters - but I've seen them in use in many households)
G. Season Ticket with map showing the seat's location

This would cost a little money, but I think this would really be a fantastic way to create brand consistency, increase brand loyalty, and generally get the fan base more excited for the upcoming season.

Look harder ;). It's definitely a southern frat tradition

Georgia frat
Clemson frat , Clemson frat Ex 2
The mutt pic was inconclusive. Surprised at the Clemson one. Don't remember seeing a block of guys like that my last two times there. Problem at Tech is that it is a BIG block in the lower North, and it really sticks out. Time for those boys to get over it. They ain't that special.....LOL

The worst part is they don't show up until halfway through the 1st qtr. When I was in school, we had to be in our block in full force or we lost it. Maybe we got one warning, but it was a big deal to be on time to games. Then there was the flash card section and they had to be early or you lost your seats and those were lower level east between the 40's.

Perhaps also donate unused tickets to, say, the Jacksonville State game to kids at Camp Kudzu whose new favorite player happens to be the QB for GT? Keep building the next generation of fans.

The biggest block of white in the lower north is the band. Are you wanting the band to switch to Old Gold as well?
