Pretty good staff Dodd had. Something our last couple ADs didn't seem capable of grasping. We gotta stop handcuffing ourselves needlessly. Thank goodness for T.Stan

Sugiura: Kaleb Oliver picked Tech over Ole Miss, Hugh Freeze
Oliver, from La Vergne, Tenn., took official visits to Ole Miss and Tech. He quickly was won over by Tech, whose recruitment was led by safeties coach Andy McCollum.

“After the first day at Tech, I was like, Oh, yeah, this is where I want to go,” he said.

The strength of a Tech degree was among the factors in his decision, he said. A minus on the Ole Miss side? The NCAA’s investigation, which charged the school with a lack of institutional control and Freeze with a failure to monitor his coaching staff.

“They were on the verge of getting in all that trouble,” Oliver said.

Side note on Shamire. I think he could have a monster year this year. But. If he has been passed by others (not saying he has or will btw) could he, should he, be utilized at DT?

My guess is no as I think his focus is to be the best OT he can be. The thought of him and Brandon Adams on the Dline together though.....well it intrigues me.

Great guy but to stay on the field more needs to come off the 380 mark down to 350. No reason if he is on the field inside the 5 yard line MJ can't just run behind him . :)

To get down to 350 from 380, he'd first have to get from 410 down to 380.

Clinton "Big Plays All Day" Lynch! Taking care of business on the field and off the field. Could end up the best AB at GT under CPJ by the time his career ends. Thank goodness it's not for another 2 years though.
