This says we're ranked 42 in PPD. FEI says 13th.

BCF lists the O at 35th in PPD and D at 70th in PPD. Though I guess we've deadened the horse on this, but FEI is of course in no way == PPD.

You know, I'd say that FEI is very closely related toPPD, but adjusted for SOS.

I calculate PPDvsPwr5 opponents. The BCS Toys site uses all FBS games. So, they would include the GS game, and neither would include the Mercer game. I calculated my stat after week 6 (it's now after week 8) for 88 teams that had played more than 1 Pwr5 team, and we were #39 on offense and #35 on defense (that goes to #29 and #26 for 58 teams that had played more than 2 Pwr5 teams).

As I've said in other posts, most of my concern about our D has stemmed from the succession of games against Miami, Pitt and GS, where we gave up a significantly more ppd than other comparable opponents.
