One question, at times it has appeared to me that our LB's seem to engage the blocker and then play off of him. Are they taught to do that or are they just worried about there gap therefore going after the blocker? Or am I wrong and they simply are just getting blocked and it's my imagination running away with me!!

I see the same thing.
I am disturbed they aren't moving quickly to engage closer to l o s ..

When the dl slants one way and the line backers dont seem to shift the other way to cover the open gap.

Hope they get better this week

I watched Lville and fsu, vt and dook..We won't win if we play at the level of today( and before) esp on DEF. Too static and slow. also--Scary but Tulane QB looks better than TM.--and they were playing a much better team than we were.
