Not after they lose to the Puppies tonight . I had ESPN2 on in the background and they flipped to the UGA game at the conclusion of our game and I had to shut it off immediately. Was too emotionally hard to watch them pan the arena and student section.

Based on the score, it appears the second half was better? We left for church near end of the 1st. I said a prayer for them since it looked awful up til then. TBH, can't think of what I prayed for but it was at least not what I had seen 15 minutes earlier.

Pitiful. Just pitiful.
We start every game with sluggish play and turnovers. SMU's bigs dominated the paint, allowing SMU gaurds to play man to man at the 3 pt line. Their bigs just took Ndongo out of the game. As I've said before our biggest weakness is lack of a good 5 to take the pressure off Ndongo, who I believe could actually be a good 3. Coaching vs. players: coaching may be suspect, but we didn't have a single player that could have started for SMU, given their play today. Regarding coaching, I'm really not knowledgeabule enough to know what he is doing wrong. But we are a bad basketball team.

he had a 7-2 guy in his face all day. And a 2nd power forward behind him. They took him out of the game. He's not Superman. He needs help down low.

In general, I think you're right that he's getting beat up. Needs a legit 5 next to him to do dirty work, imho. DO seemed to give that but, sadly, he gone. Mutombo is ... there, bless his heart.

As the broadcast pointed out briefly, he's not sneaking up on anyone this year. As with Nait, he's getting more attention and isn't responding well to it.

Nait has had moments, but I feel like he’s trying too hard to force the lob this year. Almost had a triple double today with 11 points, 10 assists, & 7 turnovers.

And just so folks don't accuse me of making excuses for him, he needs to be better. He's left a lot of points on the floor just by rushing and/or turning the ball over. He's had guards against him in the post and just panics, seeing ghosts.
