UVA pretty commonly held teams under 20 in a half between their vaunted packline defense and slow offensive pace. It happened so much that holding any team under 20 in a half is colloquially known as "a Tony."

This still goes down as the worst offensive performance I've ever seen by an ACC team.

I did not know about the “Tony” term. That’s good to know. Thanks. I would be interested to know how many times it happened twice in one game (i.e., both halves) against ACC opponents. It’s got to be a select group. Unfortunately, GT is a member of that group.

So GT is in a very select group of Double Tony’s (maybe one of only two in the ACC?) and almost got Double Tony’d twice. Ouch.
