+1. He seems most irked when talking to national media, who don't normally give a rat's *** about the team, but due to the big matchup we're in they come groveling for sound bites.
I think the angle of the photo makes it look closer that it really is. If I remember right, the ball was to the left of the lineman's hand by a good bit.
Nonetheless, it's a great photo.
Honestly, I'm not a fan of the blue. I would have loved to wear the white throwbacks.
I did too for a while after that game, but I've come to love the guy. Him and PJ have a similar crazy vein running through their bodies, and that makes them fun to watch.
Why does it seem like we're always waiting for the second half to start blitzing? Why can't we come out of the gate doing it? Does Roof think the same bunch of 4 is going to suddenly generate a pass rush?
Totally disagree. Only people in Georgia care about our rivalry. People all around the nation are gushing over GT right now because of the win last night.
I didn't mind it as much. The FSU fans around me were pretty tame. Most of them were worried, honestly. And, as a Braves fan, I had to catch myself before I started instinctively chopping.
I've seen some great pics floating around. I figure we should put them all in one place. I'll (pooch) kick it off.
Video of the team celebrating after the final. Notice how quick they turn the scoreboard off:
That place cleared out quick. I've never seen 90,000 people move so quickly :)
I'll just leave this here: http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/sec-football/mike-pereira-criticizes-sec-officials/
But really, we had to win in spite of the refs today. They blew some extremely basic calls. If I were PJ, I'd be sending a letter to Mike Slive.
The only thing I can think of on the second one is that he may have actually released the ball backwards due to the way it stuck in his hand, making it a lateral.
What kills me is that they try to do that every year. CPJ needs to coach the boys to get their yards and get down so they can't...
IJ has quietly shaped into a pretty good safety this year. He's had a number of big hits, breakups, and picks. He was great in run support today. He was making beelines to the ball carrier and wrapping up.
And then on top of it, Richt called the timeout on Butker's FG to keep us in range. There was no way we were gonna get the play off. He was still lining up the kick with 3 seconds to go.
Man, that was great. I was worried we nearly pissed it away after recovering the pooch kick. Why would he deviate from the dive? We were picking up 7 yards/carry
How do we take them down? We hope that Jameis gets suspended during his hearing on the 2nd before we play them on the 6th. That will be the easiest road.
If that doesn't happen, we've got a tough battle. I like our chances nonetheless, but it will be tough.
