After a very good first 15 years, CDH has been very mediocre the past 15 years. However, considering how things have gone for GT over the past 15 years, we might should celebrate mediocre.

Under CDH, the season end for GT’s baseball team has gone from the College World Series championship game, to the College World Series, to the super regional, to the regional, to the ACC championship to probably the regular season this year. Only 12 teams make the ACC tournament now.

I would prefer 96 teams with an extra day (33/96, 34/95, etc) bringing the field to 64. This would pretty much eliminate the small conference, weak schedule problem and allowing truly deserving teams to be in the dance. GT must improve for it to matter, but there could come a day when a 21-10...

IMO, there is at least a 50/50 chance GT baseball gets worse after CDH is gone. I, for one, am ready to risk it.

IMO, if UGA wants to complete the game, GT should make every effort to accommodate them. Fair is fair and we need to show some class. This weekend was a disaster in several different ways.

Per the AJC, UGA is furious the game was stopped 3 outs from being complete and is willing to come to Atlanta any weekday this season they don’t have a game to finish it.

Karma is a witch. I know it’s silly, but if I believed in Karma, our “activities” Friday night might have driven yesterday’s comeback. I could be totally off base, but I think GT may have been trying to gain some sort of competitive advantage by making UGA travel to Atlanta when there was no way...

The decision to play in the rain Friday just started an awful weekend. I wonder who made that incredibly stupid decision.

His last year should have been 10 years ago. In fairness, he had a very good first 15 years, but has been slipping for 16 years. I cannot believe Jbatt gave him a 2 year extension last year when he could have finally gotten rid of him with no buyout.

CPJ, slightly better than CCG, not quite as good as CBR or CGO, much better than CGC and CBL. Comparison to CBK still TBD.

Good coach, hate to lose him. Doubt it will make much difference on winning or losing to UGA, but will hurt us against other schools.

Rough year. With CDS’s apparent ability to recruit, GT could get really good in the future. However, we might not. CDS is a very high risk/reward coach. Time will tell.

Ndongo and Kelly would start for some teams in the ACC. Everyone else would be limited role players. We need to bring in, and lose, 3 or 4 players in the portal this year. 4 new freshmen, 4 new portal players, 5 existing players.

Home court doesn’t seem to make any difference for us in basketball or football.

Forrest is averaging 7.2 PPG on 33% shooting for South Plains College. However, he is only playing 10 minutes per game, so i guess that is pretty good. He has not started any of their 12 games. South Plains is 12-0 and averages about 85 PPG.

A lot of posters are hung up on losing a 16 point lead. This happens all the time. College basketball is a game of streaks. We were up 16 because we had a 14-0 run. They came back because of a similar run. Anytime you have a 14-0 run, you can almost be sure the other team will respond.
