Right now, I feel like GT starts a game about 14 points down due to our coaching staff. Key has got to try to improve himself and his staff.

I did not see the replay, but the play happened right in front of the GT sideline. I did not see anyone from GT raising hell or really even complaining about the call. If it did bounce, the whole sidelines has got to raise holeo hell.

GT has had some miserable defeats, but damn, have we ever had some incredible wins.

Key may or may not be the guy, but you cannot base it on one game. However, you might not should hire a guy based on a couple of interim wins. Gotta give it at least a couple of years unless the wheels completely fall off.

I was about 50 feet Key. I did see him light up Thacker, but that was the only “live” person I saw him talk to all day. I guess he must talk on the headset and have the coaches up there talk to the coaches on the field and have them talk to the players.

I guess I would think it was wonderfully quirky if we were winning, but I’m getting tired of Key dressing like a bum, prancing around biting his fingernails, never talking to anybody and showing no energy or emotion. He is kind of 180 degrees from Collins, but maybe 90 degrees would be better.

At least we gave Citadel a good game. Today we gave up 38 straight points.

GT fired the worst coach in college football then hired his OL coach who had failed miserably and kept the completely inept DC. Only at GT.

Really good win against a pretty good team on the road. I think we are getting significantly better. I also think we have a long way to go.

At the end of the day, for other than a few GT folks, it you record that determines respect. If we go 8-4 against a complete patsy schedule, the nation will salute GT. If we go 4-8 against all top 25 teams, the nation will say we suck. Nobody digs down into the weeds.
