All it takes is one reporter to ask him and one fumbled response to bring the story way out in the open. What worries me more is it being used against him on the recruiting trail:

Sorry for your loss. Know that our loss is very big, too. It was apparent he loved his Jackets and that love bonded him with us all. He will be missed greatly, but his memory and spirit will forever be a part of this place.
and in the community. For the most we’ve kept our noses clean off the field as well as provided a good bit of community service ( not the court ordered kind ;)).
I agree with all that. But over the last bunch of years, the team standing on the top of the mountain has been a factory. My question is can a non-factory ascend to the top?
