I have zero problem with the word myself. The funny part was watching Key’s reaction. It reminded me of Al Bundy’s face after Peg said something really stupid.

Telling him to tweak his messaging his interview training. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it’s definitely going on. They don’t want these guys going into interviews and having stream of consciousness speaking, especially the players. They’re very particular about their message.

He didn’t hire the players. And he’s already had a blunder by one of his coaches. I forget his name, but he referred to academics at Georgia Tech as “surviving.” Key was sitting next to him and was visibly displeased. Haven’t seen that particular coach in an interview since.

My guess is there is some serious spin control training for all staff and players and some serious repercussions for failing to toe the party line in interviews.

Vamos was a linebacker during the Gailey years. My guess is he had his fill of tackling/trying to tackle our new runningbacks coach/offensive recruiting coordinator.
