Playing qb is so much more than being an athlete. Tevin was one of the best option qb's in the option era but was not even close to being the best athlete.

Not necessarily. First of all, defenses are typically ahead of offenses in the spring. D is more reactionary. Second, and more importantly, what our offensive line is doing is way more different than last year than what our defensive line is doing. I expect them to struggle more.

Command of the offense is what CPJ valued the most.

If we're not seeing our D in the opposing backfield, it will say a lot and it ain't at all good.
