I'll have to listen to this later....but if you're guys can't execute it, is it on the players or on the playcaller?
The turnovers killed us, but we didn't really move the ball yesterday either.
Why were we running so many plays out of the unbalanced line look today? We had WRs at the backside T position, and they were just getting eaten for lunch by the blitzing LB and we had a lot of takedowns from behind.
Why were we running out of this set so much? Was it a look Duke was showing...
I've heard we may be looking to RS Jordan now (he hasn't played in the last 2 games after playing in the first 3) and that may have been the move to put Charlie at Jack. We also haven't been getting a lot of production out of the Jack position, which is supposed to be a stat monster.
In all...
Yeah, he had a few good snaps vs Alcorn, and basically hasn't been seen since.
I think he got moved up to Stinger because of Malik (who has done well), but has been behind Jalen and I think Jordan Domenick?
I'm a little curious what happened with Christian Campbell. I haven't seen him on the field much, and he was supposedly a star of spring and fall practice.
Thanks for the breakdown. Interesting to see the mechanics on why things work and why they don't. I can also see why you almost have to...
I would agree, except I think Haskins will still be around next year. He could leave, but I imagine he'll want at least 1 more year in college. And he probably gets paid more as the OSU QB1....
If I had to guess, I'd say Penn State or Oklahoma. I'm thinking he ends up at a playoff contender that has a QB who's leaving this year.
I say this, and then Lawrence is going to get hurt this weekend....
Tate openly petitioned not to have CKN as the coach at Arizona.
I guess the question is, did Nebraska's offense make the QBs great, or did the QBs make Nebraska great? None of those guys got much of a sniff in the NFL.
I really wish Ratliffe hadn't gotten hurt. I think he would've been a...
42-31.
USF moves the ball well, but doesn't have an answer for the option. Late TD by us makes the game look less close than it was.
Jalen Camp gets a long (60+ yards) TD reception. Benson and Mason over 100 yards rushing.
Oliver gets his 2nd interception on the year. Cerge-Henderson gets a...
My guess is this is motivation/coaching for the offense...I think he knows the potential, and he's trying to get the most out of them. The fortunate (?) thing is they realize it too.
There may have been a little bit too much confidence coming out of camp.
Interesting to watch the Charlie Strong presser for our game. Seemed to show pretty good respect for us as an opponent.
I'll say that any time I hear a coach talk about assignment football when it comes to us, its usually a bad sign for that team. We come way too fast with a lot of different...
The middle was there all day. We actually didn't have a whole bunch of sustained drives, and Alcorn was somewhat stalling. They had one drive where it took them almost 6+ mins to go 37 yards in the 3rd quarter.
Quon missed a few mesh reads, but I don't think he missed many (if any?) pitch...
When I went in the bookstore today....there was more Under Armor gear than Adidas. I don't know whether we've bought them out, or whether the bookstore isn't stocking it.
I'm betting our road unis will be easier to see, but people will be mad about no gold.
