This appears to be a one off mistake by this kid. That is why a second chance is appropriate in this case. However, I sure hope we pass on kids that have a history of poor decisions with the law. That is where poor character starts to show itself.
I think second chances are OK in this situation. However, he must be told in no uncertain terms that he is on a short leash. No three strike policy for him. That’s the price you pay when you screw up and get a second chance and somebody goes out on a limb for you.
I sure hope we still value...
For my take, I don’t mind guys being excited about the new regime, but I’m not gonna sit quietly by when some take shots at the old one. I wish CGC all the best, but he’ll be doing good just to match the successes of the last coach. But by all means let’s be ELITE!
Morpheus is a master at Photoshop is all I can say. This poster surpassed by far the logo count on the business card. We may not win a lot of ball games but damn well everybody will know who our supplier is.
I don't think anyone expects us to beat Clemson, but it will be telling on a lot of fronts win or lose. SF in game two should be a nice matchup that we should win and we should mop the floor with the Citadel in game 3.
Not so sure it was much different, again people are gonna believe what they want to believe. I remember a piece in the ajc or maybe it was ramblinwreck.com about GTAA personal shoppers taking players to the grocery store to pick out food and education them on proper food choices.
Agree about...
And don't forget that when you were a young buck, the previous generation was was calling your generation lazy, unmotivated, undriven, less skilled, less tough, etc, etc, etc...
Defensive style is irrelevant. The question is does facing the option in spring hurt the D. I think it does to a lesser degree than most here. Our issues on D were widespread and centered on lack of talent.
Yeah that whole limiting possessions really sucked for our D.
I’m not naïve to think it had no effect. But I think it’s effect is completely overstated around here. Not to mention what I just stated above as a mitigating factor.
