Not sure how the rest of the ACC teams look going into the season, but feel if the pieces gel and Pastner coaches to their strengths, we will be a tournament team.

He might need to publicly support Collins but don’t say stupid stuff like look at the stat sheet and keep mentioning the CPJ transition.

Collins reminds me of Vanilla Ice...dresses like him and acts like him. Dresses like a rapper (wouldn’t know he was a head coach when I see him on tv if I didn’t know better). He does his song and dance and has the juice crew behind him doing the choreography. Sad part is we will have to all...

Collins has spent more time on things like the Juice crew, Waffle House food truck for the players, flying his players on a non-commercial jet to ACC media day, making sure his players feelings aren’t hurt, etc. than coaching a Division 1 team. All this feel good and everything is perfect...

I thought Willie Fritz would have been a good hire at the time. We seem to always look for a “Tech connection“ for a hire. We need to start looking elsewhere.

Collins is a failed project. He will not turn anything around. GTAA made a poor hire and poor contract...seven years with a big surrender charge. Problem is the longer we go with Collins the worse it will get.

We hired a salesman...this is the result. If I didn’t know he was head coach, I would think he jumped on the field from the GT student section.

We keep looking for a GT connection with our hires. Time to move in a different direction

GTAA got it wrong with this hire. We had better options.

This is going to be a failed and drawn out project with Collins. Todd will keep him at least thru next year and we will have not improved.

I tend to disagree with some that claim he shouldn’t come back. At this point if he’s not quite there yet, I think another year could move his draft stock up, especially if GT has a big year and makes a deep run into the tournament.

Why would he do this? Makes no sense at all.

He had a stint down here in Valdosta. Well respected and well liked. RIP Coach.
