they also don't allow for pay for play, but that's exactly what's going on.
again, if all the teams ignored the NCAA, (They already are) what's the consequences of that? just some old men being pissed off because they don't matter any more?
People are dumb. Also, heaven forbid teams have bad days/games. And let’s not act like the sec/b1g hasn’t had a team or two blown out in the playoffs before
With how big conferences have gotten, the only way to have “fair & balanced” schedules is not have any permanent opponents. Go to 9 conf games and have it where you play every team every 4 years if not every 2-3.
Go divisions, have a team win their division at 8-4/7-5, go to conference championship and wins and a 9-4/8-5 acc team is in the cfp. Yeah, people would lose their collective **** over that.
Only way that doesn’t happen is if all the other conf chaps are ranked higher. And if the acc runner up...
Can you really count saban? He was a college coach with a NC at LSU before being a HC in the NFL.
I know he was a dc in the nfl prior to his stint at Michigan state, but he really wasn’t a successful nfl hc like Gailey
I mean I could be wrong or missing what you mean about a “pro game”
Never said that. Just that he would have better stats. The best player doesn’t always go first in the draft. NFL teams typically take needs at the beginning of the draft and not BPA.
To be fair, his stats probably would have been better with anyone at qb not named Reggie ball. Now, Reggie did give Calvin an opportunity to show case his skills and freak athleticism.
Beck and Stockton could have literally died out there and if uga still won the game they were getting in. Them winning the sec made them an auto qualifier.
Now if there weren’t auto qualifiers then yeah they should be overlooked like fsu did but that’s not the case this year.
