  1. The ACC will delay the start of competition for all fall sports until at least Sept. 1

The rapid tests vary significantly, so it's hard to generalize from that. The ratio of false positives in a testing sample isn't the most helpful thing to look at in isolation. That depends on how many people actually have the illness that are being tested. Don't know how many you've tested, but...
  2. Article Sizing Up The Syracuse Orange

If there's a team on our schedule to dominate, it's this one. We have a very versatile offense that means we can put up yards on anyone. But we have to execute better or we'll keep Syracuse in the game like UNC and Pitt did. UCF exposed the limitations of our defense, but Syracuse doesn't have...
  3. The Birth of a Star

He's on the ATL chart. Tre and Clayton aren't. He was warming up at FSU before deciding on being a no-go. There is nothing official, but if he were definitely out I'd expect him to be left off the ATL chart.
  4. The Birth of a Star

Just 1 78 yard TD. Last play before we sit our starters.
  5. The Birth of a Star

Add a kick off return TD.
  6. Letter to the team ( sorry may be too long)

WTF I'm not reading all that
  7. Week 2 Media #UCFvsGT

I'm envisioning huge things for Jahmyr Gibbs' first game. Doesn't sound like those guys know anything about him.
  8. ATL week 2

Juanyeh was a true freshman all american kick returner in '18 per 247 sports. He was trying to set up a return and make a crease to break one when it just wasn't available, hence going backwards. He's not the quick burst guy but is plenty fast as he showed then. Don't know why he danced around...
  9. ATL week 2

No. We need to have adequate depth and will have people move into ATL when depth is needed. We saw that a lot last year with injury. If we have adequate depth for a game at a position, we won't move someone into an ATL spot just because of someone getting hurt.
  10. Next....UCF

I think they're still waiting to hear back on some transfer waivers. Not sure how many and what role they may have on the team.
  11. ATL week 2

Not sure how many snaps. I wonder if there are some guys below the line we'll work into the game situationally. Another part of the division is extra lifting for the developmental squad so less load on them game day. Maybe he's a guy they feel comfortable playing but want to build strength more...
  12. ATL week 2

Douse probably would have been ATL if we knew Clayton was out when the chart was created. Some guys don't play because of game situation. The first team OL was rolling and did not need a breather and the game was tight. Obviously Sims was leading the team -- no reason to pull him. ATL means...
  13. ATL week 2

No Tre or Antonneous ☹️ but I think we were figuring 2-3 weeks for each
  14. Article Jackets Brought the Juice to Tallahassee

Our OL performance was pretty amazing given their DL. Watching it live, it didn't feel like we were dominating their front. Really impressed with Jeff's tools to move in the pocket and escape to scramble when necessary. A lot of throws were RPO. Most of his passes were out pretty quickly. That...
  15. Week 2 #UCFvsGT Predictions

This is hard. UCF is a good team. They are used to winning and are not small (although smaller than us at some spots). It's their first game, but they have a lot of returning players. Despite the win over FSU, we don't have anywhere near the resume to think we're ready to beat a good team yet...
  16. Jeff Sims' First Collegiate Game

I imagine staff planned to get someone else a series at least but Jeff was clearly leading the team, and it was a tight game the whole way through. I don't want to see a sub in this one unless the score gets lopsided.
  17. Week 2 Media #UCFvsGT

Listening to the whole thing it doesn't sound like these comments are out of turn. I hope they are overconfident, looking past us, not prepared for the speed of the game, etc., but I doubt that will be the case.
  18. This could be just Crazy

His legs will only help. The NFL is valuing that more and more. It is only the QBs that have deficiencies in size, scheme they ran in college, arm strength, etc. that can be elite in college but questionable NFL prospects. Jeff has the physical tools, and we are running a pro-style scheme. Yes...
  19. This could be just Crazy

If Jeff is our QB for 5 years, then that's not a good sign for the program. He's got all the tools to be an NFL QB, so unless he's a very odd duck to not take the leap when the opportunity is afforded, him sticking around as a 5 year starter means he doesn't end up developing to his potential...
  20. The Late Kick showing GT some love...again.

The guy is taking about us entering Clemson's tier down the road, at least to regularly challenge them for ACC supremacy. That's territory no program in the conference has been in more than once or twice much less consistently. We were there once (2014), and Clemson as a program has lapped...
