The two errors from Bailey on the shoulda been double play in the 4th was killer followed by the error from Craport. Curry really should've gotten out of the 4th without giving up any runs. Instead he had to throw 20-25 more pitches and then left too many balls up the following inning.

True. The two pitchers I've not understood why we've seen more of recently are Schneiderjans and Gibson. I completely understand Schneiderjans struggled mightily vs Clemson, but he had done very well previous to that. I'm pretty sure we haven't seen him since. With Gibson, the coaches obviously...
Focusing back on last night's game for just one post---let's take a look at the positives......

Gibson did pretty well

anything else?
My bad--I wasn't trying to imply that's why he wasn't drafted until late. I completely agree he very likely gave a number that he would sign for before the draft and no teams wanted to reach that number for him; so he was completely good with coming to college.
Tough to watch. Brought Winborne back out for the 4th who gave up a single, got an out, and walked a guy. Carpenter came in--struck out first guy and actually struck out the next guy but a passed ball on strike 3 got the runner on. Then a wild pitch scored another run.
Down 7-4 in top of 5th.
Then brings in a guy that gave up 3 HRs and didn't record an out last week and walked a guy on his only 4 pitches on Friday.
Back to back hits by ND. ND has scored 6 this inning so far...
Yep, English was very highly rated. Gibson actually was higher rated than Hughes in Perfect Game they both were ranked fairly high. That's what irks me the most---we are not lacking in talent.
I agree completely.
Don't think the recruiting is really good (we do have an extra challenge with he academic standards, but that excuse can only get you so far). Also, I will say we can't get the JUCOs that a lot of schools can. The development of players is really the area that bothers me the...
I know English was shutdown from pitching for a couple of months his senior year due to the infamous "dead arm".
Beer is a strange case for sure---he actually graduated HS early giving up a chance to be drafted until after his Jr year at Clemson. He very likely could've been a 1st-2nd round...
We talk about injuries hurting us on the mound, but english getting hurt easily affected us the most at 1B. He was really good defensively last season.
Nope, no coaches watch the guys in the bullpen warm up; but, most all pitchers look really good in the pen anyways. I'm worried Winborne...
Watching it last night and even when they were showing replays, I thought it was fair. My buddy was right down the line there and said it was foul (GT guy). Then the video from Wiley's tweet---I paused it and you can see the ball cross in front of the entire foul pole.
All I care about at this...
