I wouldn't say it was as available as it is now (money). Keep in mind CPJ had no OC and certainly didn't have an Oline coach/AHC making the more then anyone on staff (I could be wrong here). Even with no OC on staff, we still didn't have the same resources that CGC enjoys now.

But what about the end of season 3? Now if this season shapes out the way we think it will, and next season is another 3-4 win year, the apathetic atmosphere that has come over Tech currently will only be magnified. It's a huge risk, that difference between 3 years fully guaranteed vs 4...

So why is the defense so bad? Offense has a pulse, defense doesn't. Lame excuse, enough of that.

I was wondering when you'd show back up. Took Sunday off from cheerleading? Getting pretty taxing right?

Very Interesting interview by Quez Jackson on the play of defense in post game Interview.

I mean to be fair, it sounds like Quez is more frustrated with his teammates than his coaches. Said something like it's on the players to make the plays when coaches put you in a position to win.

With all the marketing we are supposed to be so good at now, your think we'd have better TV times lol.

    #VTvsGT Homecoming Postgame Thread

This contract, to me, is only second to Paul Hewitt's golden parachute as far as idiocy goes. Georgia Tech has always sucked at sports contract/funding and that is your real problem. I really like ADTSTAN, but allowing a seven year contract to be written is bad. Making it 4 years 100%...

Where do we go from here?

I say don't change coordinators at this point. Give everyday till the end of next year. 8 wins or bust. 7 wins, everyone is gone. Everybody wins. That's with the understanding that no changes are possible at the end of this season.

So true. Look at coach Ross's team makeup from 1990.

That's what I'm saying as well, just that Monken is a proven winner and would probably come here if offered. Not saying that's the only way to win. You just know what you get with that decision.

I also think you give Monken the same resources as Geoff, you won't see much of a drop off in recruiting as many think. People forget the 2009 and 2010 classes were pretty decent, when we were still putting money into the program.

I think you are 100% correct in your post regarding all of those teams. Does a unique scheme on either side of the ball help? I think so especially when it's difficult to recruit. While CGC has improved recruiting, I still don't believe he'll ever achieve Miami levels, let alone UGA regarding...

And I get that and respect that as well. I'm sure CGC knows this kind of sentiment from us fans comes with the territory when things are not going well.

I really do feel bad for Collins. I just don't think it's a good fit right now. I can see him being successful at a factory where they can hire better coordinators and other resources in general. Maybe if he lasts here long enough, the big money donors who brought him here will pony up factory...
