I have mixed feelings. I see some good things but also a little hesitant to get too excited in other areas. Considering Collins is trying to save his job in a short period of time, Long was probably a good hire. Just hope it works well for GT football as a whole.

Problem is I don’t think the guy can multitask so he easily gets overwhelmed. He needs to recognize what he’s good at and what he’s not and find people to fill in where he isn’t.

We should pay someone 50k to handle clock management. It’s not a difficult thing.

O’Brien came in with a good game plan for AL by spreading the field out. Also, AL has the better QB by far. Made a big difference tonight and usually does in championship games.

GA really didn’t play any good teams this year, not sure that there were many this year. And although first game of year they only beat Clemson 10-7.

Thing I don’t like about the CFP is we may be watching AL play GA again for the natIonal championship. Really don’t want to watch them play again this year.

If OK State had beat Baylor today, it may pushed GA out, but at best right now we have to hope that MI, Cincy, and ND slide in with Bama.

Interestingly Baylor HC went out and got a new OC after last year and revamped the offense. Let’s hope we can do the same thing here.

On offense, we need an accurate passer who limits turnovers and makes good decisions. Also, need a really good offensive. The other pieces are there if we get the right OC. On defense, I think we have a lot further to go.

He’s auditioning for his next job where he’ll be head of marketing for Waffle House.

I think Collins will take over as DC. Also would make sense why he is keeping Thacker bc I would surmise that a new DC would want him gone.

Not sure what Chaney is making with the Saints but think he was making around 1.5 million with the Vols.

Saw on 247 where he is in the transfer portal with a crystal ball to GT. Anyone know anything about? I think we could really use him here. Right person works with him and he could be really good. Curious to hear other’s thoughts.

Well technically there are 131 teams, so to be safe think we’d need them to expand to 131.
