    Georgie paying players?

I dont really get the joke if it was supposed to be one. Seems like this was meant to be in DMs and accidentally got tweeted.

Sounds like Malachi and Graham have a chance to play this year at WR. Hope LJ isnt dinged too badly.

Ya, thought it was weird that he disclosed Sanders' injury.

He dinged his hand during last year's spring game throwing into someone's helmet or pads or something.

I'll leave it to the BSCE's to tell me what material bends but doesn't break but also sharpens iron.

Ya! I think Parker was really right about the iron/iron thing. Our O is schematically challenging for this type of D, and vice versa. The slants make the reads a lot easier but much faster on the QB -- the front declares their responsibility with their first step -- and the double teams at...

My only fear is our dismal track record with gimmick WR/AB/BB passes. This almost guarantee's CPJ's itchy trigger finger is loaded with one.

KQ said it was a numbers thing, kinda.. But really, you wouldn't move him to another position unless he was going to play this year, so I'd imagine it's a "numbers thing" in that he is better than everyone but Dolphus and our current starters at WR, and we have numbers at QB. It's worth it to...

He'll be moved back next year -- "numbers issue" with Sanders out and Dolphus dinged. But really... he has to be on the field. Smoke routes r back.

I liked those interviews in the polos. Why not put them in front of some of the fancy new stuff, let them shower and get rid of the stupid podium and mumbling.

    Defensive biGTime "A New Hope"

I am irrationally exuberant about this D and CNW. His play calling is excellent, and the system makes sense as a blend of 335 for stopping spread and 50 slant for stopping zone running games.

    Fantastic article about Dedrick Mills

Which, thankfully we can measure how long it takes horses to drink, which horses under which circumstances, etc. That is, if we want "them" to drink. The trick is imagining that we are all horses, thirsty and don't know how to drink, and design policies with that in mind. That seems to be...

The season can start now... Midline Thread

Watched Trevor Lawrence spring game highlights the other day. Announcer noted how smooth his transition had been because his high school ran pretty much the same offense. Factories don't run this bc of recruiting. It works, and would be killer with their dudes.

Yes, seriously. This is how option football, particularly midline, works. It's cheaper to option a guy who you'd have to double team. See VT 2016.

That is Maurice Jones-Drew's size. If he can be as fast as MJD at that weight, we will be happy jackets by Clemson time.

I know it was 3rd and 10 but that push up the middle is scary. Why we need negative plays..

Film Room App St v uga 3 and out 1

App's D played really well against UGA. Fromm made some good throws, and he hit one lucky lob early that was a split second from a sack and an inch from a pick. The rest of it was Chubb/Michel running around or over guys who were in position but overmatched. Not a lot that a coordinator can...

    Fantastic article about Dedrick Mills

I'm not arguing the mechanics of a drug test or whether he knew or what he smoked and when. Presumably, SAs also know that it's a one year "contract" that can be dropped at any time. That doesn't make it the just or optimal choice for the Institute.
