I actually don't think there can be any changes. The only place I would look for change is on defense, and the problem on defense is not Thacker.
I also think by not making any changes, next year has to be CGC's last year to show results or he is gone. If you make changes, then you may...
Perhaps CGC's statement about the biggest transformation ever was more a reflection on the self learning he needed to do, and less about shifting from 3O to the elitest NFL offense of the elites (which, in fairness it probably is when practicing against our defense)?
GTs shortcomings have nothing to do with talent. The only people that think it does are the ones that have nothing better to say and instead post something dismissive about how much they know about football and how other posters know nothing. In fact, the only reason we have three wins is...
There are a fair number of people on this board that said the ND game was a turning point. Why is that? What did you see during the ND game that caused you to change your mind? Because to me, the fact that we piss away games against teams like BC is worse than the fact that we lost to ND. But...
If Ken resigns or is fired, our AD needs to call Navy ASAP and tell them we know a coach that has experience with the most monumental transformation in history and can restock with elite athletes. That’s our only realistic way out of this contract this year. And the odds of that (according to...
I appreciate his intent. But I think that is the problem with the team -- seems like we are more worried about feelings and being well liked than accountability.
Definitely seems to me like the players try hard. And if you read the AJC article linked above, sounds like they are still...
What are the coaching issues that you think a new DC will fix? I think we have coaching issues for sure. But the kinds of issues we are having are more a result of a teaching style (ie no discipline and accountability to force discipline) than anything else. That is a culture problem. A new DC...
It's a good question. the problem is that as I think about it, I don't think that the core issues can be fixed in that way. Below are the three top areas that I believe gets us into trouble every weekend. I believe that at least the top two areas are on CGC.
Culture vs. accountability...
It was a (bad) joke: https://www.ajc.com/sports/georgia-tech/geoff-collins-those-not-seeing-georgia-techs-progress-dont-want-to-see-it/YUOT3XDQEFCGTKS5LMHRMKCC24/
I agree with that. I said elsewhere that I don't think we should fire coordinators at the end of year. My point is simply if we were to do so, the AD should be involved in who we end up hiring.
