Right I already addressed that.
Seems like one of those work experiences most people leave off the resume due to how bad it was (not saying it's was purely his fault, I know the QB situation was poor). Either way, results were not great.
Face it
TStan must be trying to keep the recruiting class together so that when the buy out is more affordable next year, the job looks more attractive to the next coach.
Only rational hope I have at this point.
No doubt a great player! We just need someone with some solid previous experience if we are going to fix this Collins thing.
Make Collins DC, get a decent OC and things could be ok.
Why limit ourselves to crappy NFL OC's?
Clean house, put together a winning staff.
If Geoff isn't here, the job would be much more attractive.
As we are finding out based on potential offers, Tech has a bigger budget then most thought.
Give me an honest attempt at this exercise.
Pretend Godsey never played at Tech. Pretend you honestly didn't hear of him until he was brought up in this search.
Would you give a lucrative multi year contract to a guy who doesn't even have a full year's experience as offensive coordinator?
He's...
Yes I know TStan started the process. It was merely too little too late (not blaming him, just bad timing).
This Godsey thing smells allot like the Ted Roof situation. Some donors forcing a Tech Man on the program.
How about hiring a competent staff with some good experience, instead of people who run NFL schemes and are "Tech Men".
Is that logic too tough to follow?
