Collins truly is a snake oil salesman.
At his opening presser, it was Tech didn’t have championship level talent, then we didn’t have ACC level talent, then we didn’t have FBS level now. Now, he’s got people convinced we don’t even have FCS level talent.
There’s not a single damn thing anyone...
So, if the ref said over the PA, if Tech takes a knee, they get 6 points.
Then, we should have done it because of what they said...???
What a ref says over the PA can’t change a bedrock rule of the sport.
They rejoiced having an OR on their depth chart, yo. They weren't cheering knowing definitively who the LT was. They rejoiced at not knowing who would play at RB.
What he said was laughingly idiotic from where he started in on this discussion started.
What I’m asking though is how? Schollys are year to year, right?
Is it because Fields has already signed his scholly papers for the ‘19 season and he needs Kirby to say - it’s OK for you to break our “contract?”
I’ve never understood where the power of the coach in that regard comes from if...
What’s the actual rule that coaches use to dictate where SAs are allowed to transfer to? If schollys are “1 year contracts”, what’s the actual mechanism coaches use over their guys?
You mean to tell me if you got accepted to Tech as a student then the school President was replaced and then you got a letter saying sorry, with change in leadership, your academic talents are no longer wanted here, you wouldn’t be pissed off?
Cause that’s what happened to these guys.
