I hope Waller, Summers or Smelter has a huge gain early, just to get the confidence level up. I look for Bostic to have a huge game receiving the ball.
I think we'll beat BYU handily because our offense will be more efficient and we'll be able to move the ball. Texas' O is anemic and their D is over-rated. Mark my words...we win handily (unless the refs get REALLY involved)
I tried to tell you all that BYU would beat Texas...the Longhorns are living on past accolades. BYU will be a handful in Provo but I think we beat them handily. Also, with UVA playing BYU the way they did (forget the Oregon game), they're going to be a little tougher than expected too...
Pic was probably taken at the start of the 2007-2008 season to introduce new uniforms to fans. That's definitely not Jonathan Dwyer but Dwyer was a incoming freshman in 2007. So that explains why someone else was wearing #21...Dwyer hadn't had a chance to step on campus and earn it.
BTW, #24...
Bittersweet is an understatement. But it's all about growth. And who knows, the Jackets may pick up a few more sidewalk fans with me going behind enemy lines and spreading the "triple option gospel".
Sidewalk fan and Atlanta native. To some of the members dismay, I actually grew up a Tech and UGA fan. I'm from Dekalb county and I've always had neighborhood heroes (older guys that the younger football players emulated) and friends that went to both schools and I would pull for both. As I...
Also, I think this actually bodes well for GT. There are a lot of players that are performing well for their teams that received their first offer from GT. The myth that CPJ doesn't know how to evaluate talent is just that, a myth. We just need to have better "closers" on staff. And with the...
I know but like I stated, this is not an attack on our recruiting. As I watched games or highlights of games from this weekend, I was struck by how many names I recognized that had some relation to GT football. Tre Jackson, Antonio Crawford and Imani Cross just to name a few. BTW, Antonio...
He would have been a great fit at B-Back. He's getting academic recognition at Nebraska and is proving to be really good back. Tennessee has to be kicking themselves for pulling his schollie.
This is not an attack on GT recruiting...just wishing we could have pulled him in...
Don't know what type of doctor people are in your family but if you look anywhere on the web, almost all sites will say sports hernias are preventable by "serious" stretching instead of the cheating type. No need to argue with you guys anymore. What is fact is that Morgan Bailey stays hurt and...
But the previous 10 injuries did. And by the way, sports hernias are caused by "sudden movements or immediate twisting", both of which can be prevented by being in shape and flexible. Serious stretching before working out or practicing could have prevented this one too. Nice attempt though...
