  1. ACC Discussion 2020

I don’t think that’s unique to our society or to the times. It’s pretty much always been true hasn’t it?
  2. ACC Discussion 2020

Don’t know why you would have that reaction. People have been stealing signs in baseball as long as there have been signs. We did it in high school in the 70s. They did it in the early 1900s at least. Have we been headed in the wrong direction since then? Why do you think there is an indicator...
  3. 247: Ranking college football's richest, poorest programs

But they don necessarily account for expenses the same way as I recall so the margin may be way off. For example is stadium maintenance football expense, allocated to multiple sports or paid by the university?
  4. 2020 College Football Team Talent Composite

Should see more improvement next year. One thing to consider on that ranking is the youth of that talent. Our underclassmen are higher ranked than our upper. As that evens out we will improve.
  5. The Handshake

My point is it doesn’t matter and has blown over except for this Tech board. Let it go.
  6. The Handshake

It’s not a fact and it’s not telling me anything about myself. I don’t actually know why we expect coaches to shake hands anyway. In the pros they typically don’t. Besides CGC did shake hands he just didn’t want to talk.
  7. The Handshake

The “handshake” was meaningless and the only people making a big deal out of it are either looking for an issue or those who think too much about trivial stuff. It’s over and nobody cares except some people on this board. FWIW I haven’t seen anything on other Tech boards since about 2 days...
  8. The Handshake

Which also probably happens and you don’t see it. It’s not like you can see what happens after every play and definitely can’t hear it. B
  9. Nate Woody . . .

Tevin wasn’t great but you really need to watch some film and recalibrate.
  10. The Handshake

    Still don’t care
  11. Cochran playing for GT in 2021 season

Freshmen OL should ALL redshirt. The only time you use them is if the guy is simply too good to keep out of the lineup or you run out of upperclassmen. That’s how you develop an OL.
  12. The Handshake

    No it won’t
  13. The Handshake

Still don’t care except I’m embarrassed he’s a Tech grad if he took the time to write that condescending email.
  14. Cochran playing for GT in 2021 season

So you’re suggesting we not play the best 5?
  15. Demetrius Knight position change

My guess is it has more to do with his LB development vs his QB potential. You need guys to scrimmage as well.
  16. Collins report card after 2 seasons

Found a study based on a Parcells quote that 100 yards of offense should equal 7 points. The study did show that to be approx. true. But 100 hidden yards (penalty yards + returns) was worth only 3. Still need to cut down on penalties but this might explain why some really good teams can get by...
  17. Collins report card after 2 seasons

How did you arrive at penalty yardage = points!
  18. Tucker Gleason Enters the Transfer Portal

I don’t remember Fridge giving the backup much time either. Unless you are really blowing someone out most teams don’t.
  19. Coaches Tweets

What you just described isn’t player development though, it’s processing.
  20. Coaches Tweets

I think most players on the team have shown improvement. You have to have the talent or size or speed to start with though.
