We really need to fire him ASAP. UCF is losing to FAU right now. I'd hate to watch him try to spin a win over a bad ucf team into improvement that you have to see
Re: offense in 2nd half against W Car.
Looking back at the drive chart it was kind of a weird 2nd half for our offense. They only really had 4 real drives in the 2nd half, 5 if you count the 1 play INT "drive". Compared to 7 possessions in the first half
After the INT the drives looked like...
Collins has pretty clearly shown himself to be a poor coach but the bolded part above seems to be made up out of whole cloth. Pretty much every interview with the players they talk about working hard/ stacking days/etc. They seem to very strongly emphasize hard work. It may be working hard...
Here's how I'm looking at it. Ole Miss in 2022 is not the same as Ole Miss in 2021.
This year they scored 28 on Troy. I've seen improvement on our defense to believe we will not give up as many points as Troy.
And last year Chip Long, with Tulane, scored 14 on Ole Miss in the first half...
One other thing that interests me going into this game that I just noticed, Chip Long called plays against Ole Miss last year when he was with Tulane. And scored 21 in the first half. Maybe that bodes well.
But they didn't score at all in the 2nd half so maybe not. And the final score was...
Very interested to see what winds up happening at QB for Ole Miss on Saturday. Jaxson Dart is a transfer from USC and is in a QB battle with Luke Altmyer, a sophomore on the team who was a backup to Corral last year.
Dart started the first game against Troy and from the box score didn't...
The difference between Cimaglia's and Walker's comparisons of the programs could very well be due to the coach change at UTK. Cimaglia was there under Pruitt, Walker is there under Heupel.
Is this the thread where people make a cry for attention post about being done with the team and posting just to continue posting as usual? Unclear on title/purpose
I'd say upper north. Reminds me of one of the times some friends and I ate some...chocolates...and snuck into the stadium at night and watched the sun come up while sitting at the tippy top of the upper north. Great view
I'm no expert on these stats but it looks at net success rate. According to this we didn't get beat that bad. Less badly than how Rutgers beat BC or how Syracuse beat Louisville.
There's a lot of solid potential to praise. Defensive and offensive improvements.
But it's hard to get into those too much when the overarching issue of the coach being a coward and playing to lose overshadows all of that potential. Still think we'll do ok this year. We can still give...
