You should believe in stars and all that crap. They are the best indicator of future success. Miami had no QB this year, and a hc that refused that doesn't adjust his O to his players strengths. Richt is loyal to a fault and has never hired great assistant coaches.

Few are as good on gameday as cpj. I think he's elite in that respect. And not just in the college ranks. Clock management, adjustments, risk/reward scenarios, he was excellent in all of that. Not getting enough good players to execute his gameday calls was his downfall.

He played at Gainesville. His Stepdad is Bruce Miller, longtime HBC of Gainesville who recently retired. I believe Miller was the HBC at Cass before gville, so Thacker played two years there and two years at gville.
