Down year in the ACC?
Every other team is better than UNC!
Seriously, though, Roy Williams is why you piss me off when you say recruiting is part of "coaching." Put that guy at a school that doesn't recruit itself, and he'd be unheard of.
I'm a big fan of Evan Cole. But man. That kid always makes a big play, but only 40-60 for us.
If Banks and Moses played with Evan's aggressiveness, we'd be better.
We should have recognized the turned tide faster, imo
The point that I was making seems to have been lost.
I was not saying that we have never had attrition. Of course, we have. The normal student body more than the football team probably!
I was not saying that there have not been incidents described as "the talk" because I have no idea what...
Factually false for GT. I know Post-Truth is en vogue, but please don't bring fake news here. We didn't have a NSD with more than 85 (perhaps a couple known early departures) for at least the last the last decade, and it was a GT tradition...
Let's just say it. We're not just turning the page from CPJ. We're turning the page from Bobby Dodd.
Honestly, if it means more wins and top 10 teams, I'll probably learn to be good with it. I like Tech winning.
Still, I think it should not go without comment that 60 years of standing...
IIrc, the announcers said at half we were something like 8-1 with a lead at half.
We didn't shoot many 3's in the 2nd half. Cole's turnovers and sloppy hands from all our bigs were disappointing. The refs changed their game at the start of the 2nd. Too much to overcome.
James Graham. I would be very surprised if we were to throw a first-time starter to the tigers.
I will also be very surprised if Graham starts against the u[sic]ga
Fwiw, I now suspect the Ball State game resulted from being the first game in the new O primarily.
I think the logic of Princeton this year was that we missed in recruiting and believed its elements were teachable/coachable. Hence, CJP talked about 40% 3pt shooting because of the new machine.
If someone told me Wake was going to shoot nearly 50% from the field and over 30% from 3, I would not have predicted our win.
The difference between 20 and 13 turnovers is big.
I saw Devoe draw a no-touch foul, but I saw 3 or 4 against us. I know I'm biased, but how is it not a foul to jump...
