Conditions must be tough, Iowa State was 2 under beginning today and now they're 11 over. 13 shots over par today! South Carolina was 1 over starting and now they're 9 over today and last, but not least, OK was 7 under now even par. All of these teams were ahead of Tech beginning today.
Good day so far, some teams have backed up and as of now Tech is tied for 5th. Per the NCAA website the 3rd round will begin today and wind up tomorrow so Tech has the chance to move on up and get to the match play.
If it was White (and I think it was) he only weighed about 210lb that would have been his Fr or Soph year at Tech. He had to replace Jim Anderson who was the starter inside with Coach Roof.
IIRC it was Mark Pike and I wouldn't say he whiffed as much as Bo just shrugged him off. If it was Pike he went on to have a pretty solid NFL career.
