How is stating facts an agenda? If CGC fails, I'll continue to support the program by getting behind the next guy, rather than throw shade at his efforts, as a small handful of 'fans' continue to try to do to Coach Collins. I supported PJ in 2008 and sure as heck never had a "Gailey agenda"
It's bizarre how the immediate progress in drawing kids here is ignored in continued defense of the previous coach who never got 4-stars to transfer from P5 schools like Florida and Notre Dame to the Flats. Agendas are strong - kool aid is stronger, I guess.
Oh well. These bitter Bettys...
You know what's sad? non-fans still wanting to live in the past. Without fail, the PJ crowd always resorts to getting personally insulted when PJ's shortcomings are mentioned and you're textbook of this above.
Here's a deal for you: You keep your mouth shut about what I do and don't get to...
That list of achievements is a bit skewed though. Ross didn't play as many games/year and inherited the worst team of any of the listed coaches...and won a natty 3 years later. He's - by far - the best coach we've had in the past 40 years.
Regardless, like others here, I don't get why a few...
I like the "The scheme is awesome when you have elite talent!". Name one scheme that ISN'T great with elite talent! :ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL::rolleyes:
with a bunch of TO skill players in the offense? LOL, yeah OK.
I'm trying to figure out how this great scheme just got dominated as often as it didn't. When you can't run the ball against Duke (like Wake could lol), it's hard to take all these great-scheme comments very seriously...
those guys would've dominated anyone in any scheme. the mark of the previous blocking scheme was its inability to beat the Dukes and Pitts of the conference not to mention the complete manhandling by elite teams. The scheme had to have elite talent to succeed, which is a weakness not a strength.
Good video for us and first positive thing about us from ESPN in years. It's good to get some positive press after the complete stagnation we'd been dealing with previously. Heck, we might even get an ESPN Gameday on the Flats for the first time since the Gailey years. Either way, it's a...
In 2014, we attempted about 200 passes while running it almost 800 times. We had a passing game but at no time in PJ's tenure were we ever a very-balanced offense.
I agree with you that it only got worse the past 2 years, probably due to the QB.
I'm with Bwelbo: Outside of Clemson and the mutts, I don't think we're that much worse (if at all) than ANY other team we play this season. We'll see how great Duke is with a brand-new QB. Pitt is never a team to fear, Miami is hot ,new-coached garbage (though being at Miami doesn't help...
