    Conference Realignment

I get it, it's fun to speculate about conspiracy theories and discount the plain facts of the situation that the Committee, the Chair of which was from the ACC, stated as their reasoning. Even if they were looking for an excuse, I happen to agree that FSU with Brock Glenn was not CFP material...

    Conference Realignment

Since we’ve decided to re-litigate this discussion, let’s at least explore all the facts. What you are leaving out is that Travis’ backup, Tate Rodemaker, played acceptably well in the N. Alabama game and the Florida game, until he took a hard hit. Then he elected to portal out before the ACC...

How to watch the game this weekend?

This is strange, but it is showing on my YTTV as an upcoming game on ACC Network. Not ACC Network extra. Maybe I didn't need to jump through those hoops to use the ESPN app. Anyway, I now have a backup plan. :)

How to watch the game this weekend?

You should be able to view it via the ESPN app, if your TV supports that. You will have to tell the ESPN app that you have DTV Stream as your provider. Then select the game that shows as carried on ACCN extra.

How to watch the game this weekend?

You should be able to. It appears to be carried on ESPN+ and ACC Network Extra. I don't have ESPN+, but I have YTTV which has ESPN. So I can watch it via the ESPN app using YTTV as my provider. Lots of hoops to jump through.

How to watch the game this weekend?

@MonroeJacket - After checking my setup today to make sure it would work, there is an additional nuance that I want to share. I set up the ESPN app with YouTube TV as the provider. Then I searched for the GT game. When I selected our game to see if my setup worked, ESPN wanted me to create...

Game on Paper tracks a stat called “OL Line Yards” which are the total yards minus the yards attributed to the runner. Yards Per Carry have been: FSU: 1.21 GSU: 1.65 SYR: 1.34 These stats don’t appear to be an indictment of our OL play against Syracuse, at least in comparison to the FSU game...

    Syracuse Post Game

Key's timeout discussion centered on Syracuse's first down play, during which a pass was bobbled, and then caught for no gain. Took 6-7 seconds off the clock before the two-minute warning. It was not a discussion of taking the penalty after the second down attempt. If you were referencing an...

    Saturday’s ACC games

The ACC has no intra-conference games scheduled for Saturday. 12 games, no impact on the ACC standings. Not only that, but none of our upcoming ACC opponents plays a P4 team this weekend. Just thought that was odd. Oh well.

    Syracuse Post Game

To your point, I think that's why it's called "establishing" the run. Running the ball is more likely than passing to wear down your opponent's defense, but only after enough attempts. Thus the run game often works better in the third or fourth quarter. Unfortunately for us, we got down by...

    Analytics post mortem

I decided to comment because PFF is relatively new to me and I had to dive into its methodology recently to understand it better. My guess on your first question is that it probably varies a bit depending on the coach. Many probably use it as one of several metrics. I know coaches have spoken...
