I get nervous about UVA on the road. We've also played several tough games without any off week to recover. I think we have a bit of a letdown performance and win a close one 24 to 17.
I like what Eric said earlier: this defense is a heck of a lot better than the past few years. I really like the direction it is headed and hope it only gets better under Roof. I love that we are having these types of discussions about the D instead of melting down over how they can't stop...
Well, I wanted to reserve judgement until after the BYU game. I hate it, but we are not a good football team this year. O-line and perimeter blocking (with an exception or two) have been bad. Very bad.
Oh wow, I hadn't seen that AJC update. I'll keep an eye out for him Saturday.
Agreed on redshirting linemen in the majority of cases. The big boys especially need a year to mature physically. Gotsis is an exception. He came in with some good weight training already under his belt.
I'm not sure how anyone would know a thing about this, but does anyone have info about Kallon's development? I am guessing that he needs more time to get a feel for the game, and we won't hear or see much until the spring. I doubt he is getting a whole lot of work during the season.
I am still...
Eric, I am with you on this last sentence. If this year is mediocre or falls apart, I see Bobinski putting his own stamp on the program. I really like CPJ, but the results haven't been there since '09.
After this game, I feel like I've got a pretty good idea of what we have in this team this...
Sure, I hope GT mops the floor with Miami and that the great grandchildren of Al Golden will live in shame because the memory of their catastrophic loss on Saturday lingers for generations to come.
If I were a betting man however, I go with the U for the win but GT covers.
1. Jemea Thomas
2. Jeremiah Attaochu
3. Jay Finch
4. JHD
5. Robert Godhigh
Louis Young is on the bubble for me. He makes plays, but he also seems inconsistent.
ACC road game against an improved, athletic team.......I think we lose a close one by 3 points......34-31 bad guys.
I hate myself for that prediction.....
I hate dwags, but I can respect Richt as a person. Dwag fans will go on about how they love his character, but remember this: they love his character as long as he is winning. Winning is the first priority. The character stuff is just a nice cherry on top when things are going well. When...
Agree with Eric. Sewak needs to go, but I'm still on the fence with CPJ. I like him, but we have not been trending up as a program over the past three seasons. I will be content if we show forward progress this year and can continue that into 2014.
