Need to give Coach Nate Woody a minimum of four years to see if he can improve GT’s defensive team recruiting to where he wants it.

Don’t forget one of the current pitchers, Jonathan Hughes, will be back next year. He pitched well in his last two relief appearances and appears to me he’s finally over his Tommy John surgery. Fingers crossed that he turns out to finally reach his potential next year.

The game was televised on the ESPN app. I thought Hughes looked much better in this game than he had all season. He walked only one batter, I think if I’m not mistaken, and had much better command of the strike zone overall.
