  1. Former Georgia Tech Coaches and Landing Spots

I am curious as to how you know that Sewak "sucked in recent years." At what and how? And your expertise is ... what?
  2. What is this thing about Waffle House?

Start from here: at any other breakfast house a shooting would be a felony. At Waffle House it is a christening.
  3. GT Helicopter!!!!

this guy is grabbing at every attention-getter he can and I suppose it is reasonable now to ask: once he got it, can he coach a lick? Because nothing in his resume makes that very clear. The simple, "Can he coach?" I see he was not that confident in getting a bonus for getting to the ACC...
  4. This kind of stuff is way different from CPJ

No. I looked it up. Invited means invited. Being told a recruiter wants to knock on your door at midnight stalking. Invited is calling the guy and say come on over, we'd love to talk to you at midnight.
  5. This kind of stuff is way different from CPJ

12:01 a.m. is stalking by any definition.
  6. This kind of stuff is way different from CPJ

To each his own but to me that is borderline stalking. Since they can't have contact until midnight then I guess they can't warn them they;re coming. In the sticks were I grew up you would have had listen for the shown of a racking shotgun.
  7. This kind of stuff is way different from CPJ

Not unique, not new. Billy Donovan used the tactic when he went to Florida many years ago. I assume they call and let the people know because in some of those neighborhoods you could get shot in the dark at 12:01 a.m.
  8. Is Key already active?

As an aside, Keys is one of two Alabama assistants leaving already, continuing the annual exodus of assistants from Saban, ranging from position coaches to coordinators on both sides of the ball. That staff atmosphere has been described to me as "toxic" and the assistants' turnover is astounding...
  9. NFL Scouts like the new hires

I would not disagree for a moment. But he is from a higher league, don't you know.
  10. NFL Scouts like the new hires

The funniest movie ever made, and a must-watch-once-a-year at my house, knowing all the time that today it could never be made.
  11. NFL Scouts like the new hires

Now, there you go again. I am not "anti-Johnson," whatever that means. I kind of like the guy, and I love his offense, and I think he is genuinely a Saturday afternoon genius on the sideline who fears no team and never quits competing or coaching on the sideline. Okay? Now, he can be a jerk...
  12. NFL Scouts like the new hires

Hmmmm? What in the wide world of sports does "hmmmm" mean?
  13. NFL Scouts like the new hires

I think one scout who might or might not have had a bad experience can hardly critique the welcome due all NFL scouts. At the same time we kind o see that churlish, pugnacious approach Johnson takes to everything.
  14. O-Line Transition (Parker Braun NFL Skills)

My bad. Actually the post was not at you but at the original. I got your sarcasm, just did not express myself very well.
  15. O-Line Transition (Parker Braun NFL Skills)

    Ouch. Shaq, hello in there.
  16. O-Line Transition (Parker Braun NFL Skills)

I think we need to start a thread on how fast was Brad Stewart?
  17. ‘Ol CPJ’s GT spread option offense

Yes! A more thoughtful phrase has never, ever been uttered by anybody.
  18. ‘Ol CPJ’s GT spread option offense

Are you suggesting that Alabama will play even dirtier than they do now? It is no secret that they did everything but dismember Watson, which only gave him incentive, and tried it again against Bryant, when they didn't have to. And check out their really churlisih and bitter reactions to getting...
  19. ‘Ol CPJ’s GT spread option offense

I believe in hyperbole. Can't live with out it. But winning by a hundred? That is in the territory owned by a fellow we know so well on the political scene. Swinney made his point in winning and that was the end of it. He has few enemies in the ACC -- though not a lot of "friends" as we might...
  20. ‘Ol CPJ’s GT spread option offense

Clemson probably used more 2,3 and 4 deep if there is such a thing and used them longer than any P5 team in the country. So much so that I was a bit surprised that he waited so long to get his backup QB into the NC game. I gather it meant that much to him.
