  1. Matthew Jordan Practicing at AB

Looks more like a "20" number, most likely Wigley 26 but could be Z Allen 21, M Davis 22, L Griffin 27, or J Selembo 29. Don't think it is O Jarrett or L Simmons.
  2. Fan Day Experience

Agree on Freeman. Lots and lots of impressive players. I particularly noticed (for the first time) Kagawa and Alford, the backup centers A Marshall, Muns, and Anderson, and many of the new walk-ons. Big smiles and laughter everywhere. Really proud of our football program.
  3. Matthew Jordan Practicing at AB

Speedwise he is in the company of Perkins, Hill, S Days, Godhigh, and Willis most likely, so not a litmus test for success.
  4. Nathan Cottrell

He told me at Fan Day that there was not a diagnosis as yet (5:00PM).
  5. A Few Other Freshman Updates?

Generally agree with possible exceptions of some "physically ready" players like Gray, Bryan, and maybe L-Davis. We have had success with frosh ABs and this year we may see some freshmen ST players and WRs contribute. With over two dozen freshmen in this class IMO 8-10 will be ready to compete...
  6. Help with an idea!

Left off Curry, probably a S/N.
  7. A Few Other Freshman Updates?

Nothing except that one poster reported that they looked good in shorts and would be the most popular players until the fifth or sixth game. CPJ said they could not yet hold on to the ball and had not adjusted to the speed of the game from HS to college. Someone did mention that one was drinking...
  8. Help with an idea!

This is the chart you need to view to decide who to recruit by position. Note that some of the players in the 2019 column (2015 recruits) will need to be moved to the 2018 column if they play as freshmen and do not RS. When studying the chart you will notice that Center and WDE should be...
  9. Help with an idea!

C Griffin, Leggett, Green, and Simmons are also on Schlorship but that only accounts for 78. Am I missing some? I know Ratliffe and Benson got moved to 2016.
  10. Help with an idea!

I'll take a crack at it: QB: Thomas..Byerly..Jordan..Martensen.. Campbell BB: Allen..Skov..L-Davis..M Marshall.. Weimerskirch..Swilling..Braswell AB: Snoddy..Lynch..Cottrell..McClellan AB: Willis..Searcy..Jarrett..T Marshall WR: Summers..Messick..Stewart..Barton WR...
  11. What was your Muhammad Ali Moment?

    Fumble recovery against Ga So.
  12. #GTCamp15

Johnson is a fit for Nickel. In the Spring Game he brought the heat and the hit. He has been playing safety so he should have cover skills as well. I like Lynn and Jalen at N.
  13. #GTCamp15

We have a large and talented group at BB, and Mills and Leggett are coming as well. Good competition this Fall along with evaluation of Leggett will likely result in a couple of players moving positions. If L-Davis looks as good as expected IMO we could likely see M Marshall at AB.
  14. The Best Return Man in the ACC

I noticed how well Searcy handled punts in the Spring Game so I asked Golden at the CFBHOF if he expected to return punts and kickoffs this year. He certainly thought so, but acknowledged that returns last year were not up to expectations, but he was working hard and looking forward to breaking...
  15. The Best Return Man in the ACC

    He thinks so....according to him!
  16. Best and Worst Case Record

    upside 11-1 downside 8-4
  17. 100 Days

Nate is highly likely to play this season. Coach had 8 ABs ready for rotation last two seasons and right now, without freshmen, he only has 5 counting two walk-ons. Jarrett and/or T Marshall are also candidates to play. When you count the number of BBs I would not be surprised to see M Marshall...
  18. AJC: Georgia Tech’s Shamire Devine ‘close-ish’ on weight goal

Last Fall Camp scrimmage E Joe was almost as gassed in the heat as Devine. Joe later lost about 13 pounds, played and practiced himself into shape, and by mid season was playing at a starting level. He is now considered one of our top OLineman,, if not top according to comments by Coach. Devine...
  19. Fan Day 2015 Roll Call!

My wife just gave me the test on Jersey numbers. I missed three freshmen the first time but I got all the scholly numbers + Willis and McClellan second time around. Its a lot more fun when you can ID the players from posted pics and videos. I've been cramming for Fan Day.
