To be honest I have no clue...I was born, raised and still living in NC. I don't have a single relative from or living in the state of GA. I don't have a single relative that attended any college in the state of GA. I've been a fan since I was a kid. The '90 National Championship year, I...
That was his 2nd year, they went 8-5 that season, and we were undefeated at the time. That was my first and last trip to HooVille. The other four seasons he's been coach, UVA has lost almost 70% of their games. I hope they keep him for a VERY, VERY long time.
It's nice to get a guy that's a real offensive threat.
As much as I don't like it, it seems obvious that CBG is gonna be around for 2-3 more years here. I'd prefer us not suck during that time as I'm tired of watching sucky basketball. I hope we can get another transfer to help us.
He's coming in to play a position where we just lost 2 guys for the year, both of which everyone thought would get significant playing time. The "starter" during th spring game was a guy the coaches have moved around to 3-4 different positions. Physically and mentally, Skov is a grown man...
I never understand why fans want to crap on the optimism of other fans. If fans want to talk about being in the national title hunt, let them drink the koolaid. That's what this time of year is for, especially when coming off a 11 win season. Being a GT fan is not easy some days, so when the...
I haven't got to see the game yet, but the most encouraging news is that the legend of JHD is actually true. Please Lord make him be eligible for this season.
CPJ is just confirming what most fans already knew. CPJ gave Vad every chance to be the future QB but Vad didn't want to buy in to the option and he decided to move on. I don't understand why some fans want to over-analyze everything that CPJ says.
Two things about this...
1) Giving a coach a 10 year contract is stupid, especially one that had only been at the school for a year or two.
2) As a GT fan, it's hard to wrap my mind around firing a coach that has made the NCAA tourney 5 out of 7 years.
I agree on Roy. I live in NC and being surrounded by UNC fans, they'll admit he's not a great tactician. Most nights they can just out-talent the other team. He's a good recruiter but UNC recruits itself to some degree.
