  1. Anyone else?

    Nope
  2. What did CPJ mean

Installed too much. I think Duke was guilty of the same thing.
  3. What did CPJ mean

I just don't believe we are as slow as we look, specifically at LB position. CPJ confirmed what a lot of us thought: the LBs had a tough game against Duke. Let's hope PJ Davis is back and the LBs anchor a great D performance this week against UNCheat. Go Jackets.
  4. Duke Postgame

I think CPJ was seething about this the whole game...mentioned it in his post game presser. It was bad.
  5. First play versus Duke

Hopefully they start off with the ball and we do that thing where we get a pick6.
  6. Great read and I agree

    Same here.
  7. Great read and I agree

I honestly dont know how anyone could watch our games this season and think the problem is with our offense. Have they been unstoppable? No, but that's an impossibly high expectation. Does up state jacket = Mark Bradley?
  8. Slow motion video GT v Pitt

On the busted TO play at the end of first drive (~24:00 mark) we leave 3 of the 4 d-linemen totally unblocked. Not chipped, nothing...yikes.
  9. Slow motion video GT v Pitt

I don't disagree. I was more interested as to whether or not that hit could be considered targeting. I have no problem with the non-call. It's just that this particular penalty is so severe that I'm always interested as to what could or should be called. FWIW, as I re-watched the play I...
  10. Slow motion video GT v Pitt

Thanks again for this breakdown. I'm not saying it should have been called, but the hit on JT on the second pass play (~4:40 mark)...anyone think that could have been targeting? It looks like helmet to helmet contact.
  11. The crux of the matter

This. I think it would be interesting to develop some type of stat around "When should a defense get off the field?" Pretty much any game I watch, if the offense has a 3rd and 2 I expect them to pick it up and keep the drive alive. If it's 3rd and 13, I expect the defense to hold and get off...
  12. Defense against Ga Southern, and what do we do next?

We certainly aren't getting enough pressure with rushing 4. Problem is I don't know how much better we've been with rushing 5 or 6. Seems like our blitzes get picked up most of the time and they do very little to disrupt the opposing QBs timing.
  13. Defense against Ga Southern, and what do we do next?

I like the idea of being more aggressive on defense, but unless we get more production out of our linebackers and play a little faster, it won't matter. I have trouble believing we are as slow as we look...I truly think there may be too much installed and they are overthinking everything. Of...
  14. The crux of the matter

The REAL crux of the matter: Total points at the end of the game. After reviewing every game of football ever played in the history of football, the team that has the most points when the clock runs out wins 100% of the time. Top football teams in the country succeed at this one stat nearly...
  15. A little from last night's radio show

Lol. I'll politely disagree. Perfect? No. Below average? Not even close.
  16. Warning:

I truly hope all the "burn the program down to the ground and start over" comments are from younger people that will eventual have the same realization. I to use to take losses way worse than I do now. I don't think this means I'm less of a fan or that I go into any game expecting to lose. Just...
  17. Well...

The only change I'd make offensively would be to put MJ in the game on all 3rd and 1 / 4th and 1. Having more of a power QB threat should make defending those scenarios a little tougher. As for the defense...I'm at a loss. Someone has to make a play. Yes, there were times we looked...
  18. Film Room Slow Motion Video Break Down GT versus Miami

As am I. Let's clean the mistakes and get after Pitt.
  19. Miami Predictions

I think we step up on both sides of the ball. GT - 35 Richt's step kids - 17
